Teaching and training through research
In France or overseas, several members of the Unit are directly involved in training or course supervision activities. They also supervise theses.
In France
- The Unit is notably associated with the SIBAGHE doctoral school ( Systèmes intégrés en biologie, agronomie, géosciences, hydrosciences et environnement ). It hosts around fifteen PhD students, divided between the Unit’s five teams (see link opposite).
- Some of the Unit’s staff members coordinate courses such as the Sustainable Plant Production Masters (Montpellier SupAgro) and teaching modules such as the Master 2 Data Analyst pour les Sciences du Vivant (University of Montpellier).
-
Teaching is carried out at the
University of Montpellier 2
and at
Montpellier SupAgro
on subjects as diverse as data collection, crop modelling, direct-seeding mulch-based cropping systems, statistical methods or the hydrosciences, etc.
Overseas
- Teaching is carried out at the Centre d’études régional pour l'amélioration de l'adaptation à la sécheresse (CERAAS, Senegal) on crop modelling principles and applications to agricultural diagnosis and agricultural risk analysis.
